  1. One-click IP change

    We are handling an increasing number of migrations from one location to another, and it would be helpful to streamline this process for efficiency:

    Next to the ADD button where we add a new IP, there would be a REPLACE MAIN IP button to click instead. It simply replaces the main IP and deletes the old one to make it available in the pool again.

  4. Support new Virtuozzo EZ template format

    Virtuozzo 7 uses new template format and also supports the newer distros.

    • Add option to node to specify to use "Virtuozzo 7 Templates"
    • Add option to Templates > Virtuozzo 7 Templates

    Then the EZ format for these.

  5. Set reverse DNS for reserved IPv6 addresses

    If you have reserved an IPv6 subnet you can't change the reverse DNS of an IP in that range. We would like to be able to set reverse DNS for the physical machines in our network with IPv6.

  6. Add a description to reserved IPs

    We use SolusVM as our primary source for all our IP ranges. But we have physical machines too. To make sure these IP's are not used we reserve them in SolusVM.

    It would be helpful if we can set a description for these IP addresses. Basically, we just need a description field for each IPv4 address and IPv6 subnet that we reserve.

    I know you can set reverse DNS for IPv4 but you can't for IPv6 subnets. A single solution that covers all IP's is preferred, so that's why I suggest to add a description field.

  8. glusterfs on openvz solusvm

    it would be a good idea if we can create a container with solusvm using a glusterfs storage?

    i had create this and getting and error ?

  9. Custom JS / themes files for admin backend

    We have done a lot of customizations in the admin backend, e.g. we integrated a note field at the IP list so we know directly why a IP is marked as reserved.

    Currently, it is hard to make customizations. All our customizations are done via javascript since all admin template files are encrypted.
    We have placed the javascript code into the existing solusvm js files and these customizations get lost during update.

    So i would like to see a better way to integrate own code into the admin backend.

  10. Provide changelog for user interface template

    It would be useful if we could see the changes in the bootstrap client template before updating.

    I think github would be a good place for that. There should also be notes in the release notes if there were changes in the template.

    It would be great if we could create override language files.

    Then we would not have to save the language file before every update, check for changes and then restore the custom language adjustments.

  12. virsh console access

    Please add console and serial to the autogenerated config so that admins can use
    virsh console vpsname

    Solus uses KVM as backend and should not limit its features.

    Currently one gets greeted with
    error: internal error: cannot find character device <null>

    Placing full XML config that includes serial and console in every VPS via Solus web panel to overcome this limitation is awkward.

  13. Change the icon for the Archlinux OS in Client Panel-Reinstall Action.

    When we reinstall the OS from client panel, we could find the list of OS icons.

    Archlinux OS is showing the Linux Icon instead it's own. Please change this.

  15. Add --no-sparse parameter with virt-resize to avoid filesystem issues in KVM VM.

    During the VM creation, solusvm slave uses virt-resize --expand /dev/sda1 template.gz /dev/dm-x to expand the template and to write to the LV. However, if LV has obsolete data on it, and virt-resize copies template with sparse mode, the obsolete data could occupy the space where superblocks are supposed to write to and it leads to no bootable device error.

    I understand this behaviour can be avoided if we already zeroed the Volume Group, but it's still affecting the Windows guests.

    Please add a toggle to enable/disable the --no-sparse mode for each template in Template settings page.

  16. How to find out which VPS consumes the largest CPU resources, and which VPS consumes the largest IO resources.

    Need a option or graph on SolusVM manage node page to shows largest CPU and IO resources consuming VPS list.

  20. KVM password change for new order from WHCMS

    When new order is being placed at WHMCS for KVM VPS, password entered by client is not automatically send to SolusVM from WHMCS hence client could not login with their entered password.
