Filtering options for IP Management - SolusVM 2
There is a lack of effective filtering and bulk management capabilities for IP addresses within blocks. At present, both reserved and available IP addresses require manual review, which restricts bulk operations to deletion only. It is essential for the panel to facilitate mass actions, such as reserving IP addresses that have not yet been assigned to a virtual machine, as the current process necessitates manual intervention for each individual address.

Improve the SolusVM 2 functionality on adding the additional disk.
SolusVM 2 could allow for the addition of secondary disks to the VM without the need for Guest Tools, yet it still treats this as a required feature.
Therefore, it is essential to enable the capability to add secondary or additional disks to the VM without relying on Guest Tools.

Editing the Cloud-init configuration for an existing VM - SolusVM 2
In SolusVM 2, the ability to modify the Cloud-init configuration is limited to before the creation of the VM and during OS reinstallation.
It would be beneficial to have a feature in SolusVM that allows for the editing and reloading of the Cloud-init configuration at any time.

Handling Rescue Passwords - SolusVM 2
Migrated VPS instances may not always have a password stored in the database. Consequently, even if the current root password is known, connecting via SSH through the rescue environment is not feasible. The rescue image includes Guest Tools, which allows you to obtain a new root password by booting into the rescue mode, similar to the process in SolusVM1.

IP Assignment without Guest Tools - SolusVM 2
It would be advantageous to provide an option for assigning an IP address to the virtual machine without relying on the Guest Tools. Alternatively, enhancing the capability to assign the VM's IP address from the computer resource level would allow users to configure a static IP address within the VM independently of the Guest Tools.

Transfer VPS from one disk to another at the same server
I would like to propose the addition of a feature that allows users to transfer VPS instances from one disk to another within the same server. This functionality is crucial for several practical scenarios:
- Disk Space Management:
When there is insufficient space on a particular disk, users often need to resize and expand the disk space for a VPS. The ability to transfer the VPS to another disk on the same server would streamline this process.
Load Balancing:
In situations where multiple VPS instances contribute to high loads on a specific disk, transferring a VPS to another disk on the…

In SolusVM 2, no drop-down ip address list under "Primary IP"
When create new VM, for "Primary IP", would be great if have drop-down ip list to select instead of manually key-in the intended ip address. Just similar in old SolusVM.

Grace Period for terminated VM data & Backup & Auto-Deletion Based on Duration or Size:
Grace Period for VPS Termination:
Implement an optional grace period for terminated VPS instances, during which the data will be preserved and accessible for a designated timeframe (e.g., 10 days) prior to permanent deletion. This interval would provide customers with the opportunity to renew their services or retrieve their data in cases of accidental termination.Backup & Auto-Deletion Based on Duration or Size:
Throughout the grace period, maintain the backup data with the option to automatically delete it after a predetermined number of days or once a specified storage capacity is reached. This approach ensures that the feature remains adaptable…3 votes -

Detailed error messages for API server creation failures
When attempting to create servers, it fails due to a variety of factors, including insufficient available IP addresses, locked nodes, storage constraints, and other resource limitations. The current error messages compel to manually investigate each potential issue, leading to wasted time and resources.
To enhance the efficiency of this, it would be better to have an option for more detailed and specific error messages. By clearly identifying the root cause of the failure—be it an IP shortage, a locked node, or inadequate storage—we can significantly reduce troubleshooting time and streamline our operations.
Implementing this change would involve minimal code modifications…

Grouping Lists/Tabs on "Plan"
Currently when a long list of Plans is present, and when a user creates a VM he/she sees that long list without any kind of filtering.
An option to create groups/categories/tags/etc. so when a user creates a VM they can switch between those groups and choose a proper available plan with less scrolling or knowing the exact name of the plan.
A good starting point will be something like Digital Ocean's interface.

It would be better if SolusVM add a feature on WHMCS Postpaid module to enable the Postpaid billing to compute the hourly charges solely based on the online hours of the VMs.
