Updated templates
The current templates are outdated. I don't think that your customers should be creating and managing basic templates (e.g. that includes disk resize, networking and the hostname).
We are now told by your support that if one of these is missing, in our case setting the hostname, we have to create our own template. That doesn't make sense. SolusVM should provide the right (basic) templates.

Cloud-init support
Cloud init is the standard when it comes to provisioning servers. Not only in large clouds such as AWS, others use it too in one way or another. It would be good if SolusVM would follow this standard.

Exclude servers from ebtables
If you enable the option "IP Stealing & ARP Attack" at the node configuration, it affects all servers on the node.
A GUI integration to exclude single servers from the protection is useful, e.g. for internal servers.

KVM: Multiqueue support
For better network performance, specially on 10 gbit networks, multiqueue would be great: https://www.linux-kvm.org/page/Multiqueue#Overview

KVM: support for fstrim
If the hostsystem uses SSD, the guests should be able to execute fstrim to prevent performance degradation.
For this it must be possible to add "discard='unmap'" to the KVM guest configuration.

Change MTU on VPS
The new VLAN feature from Hetzner requires an MTU of 1400. Because SolusVM automatically creates the network configuration on the VPS, it would be good if you could change the MTU value for the VPS network interface.

Improved IP block management
We have a lot of IPv4 /27 and /26 public IP blocks. At our various locations we share VLANs and IP blocks between many servers. Each time we add a new server we have to manually add the server to many IP blocks. This is a tedious exercise. It's the most tedious exercise we do in SolusVM management. We would like to request some kind of better design. I think what would be better is if SolusVM had some higher level "grouping" of network blocks that you then assigned to servers in same VLAN. When we needed to add a…

Batch migrations
We have a very large number of VPS to migrate from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7 based servers before end-of-life and need more efficiency in the migration process for a large number of migrations. Doing them one by one is not efficient. We need to be able to easily migrate an entire server to another server. Having the feature to migrate one server all VPS to multiple destination servers or one server all VPS to one destination server would be helpful.

Limit load for all VM in slave page configuration
Add a configuration to the slaves configuration page that allows you to suspend VMs that exceed a certain level of load and leave the choice for the admin to choose the action (suspend or reboot or shut down the VM.

A function that creates a template For you
Currently you can create templates through command line on the hypervisor, though I run I to issues sometimes when I use it. I think a great tool to have would be one where you can select a VM and it would automatically create a gen 1/2 template from it through the admin panel.

OpenVZ/KVM Automated Anti-Abuse Daemon
Hi,
This thread serves as a proposal for an anti-abuse system daemon, that could automate the monitoring of the VM's and avoid abusing in terms of IO, CPU and Network, the latest the less critical.
Some sort of Nodewatch, directly integrated and the nodes, that can handle the suspensions and all that. It's something that should have already been done in my honest opinion.Requirements for it:
- Give cgroups some use!;
- Ability to throttle CPU, IO / Network;
- Define thresholds for suspensions;
- Hook for billing panel integrations.

backup all filesystems for KVM
Currently, only the primary filesystem is backed up during the auto FTP backup process. All filesystems added to a Virtual Machine should be included in the backup, or an option should be added to include the secondary file systems.

Live Migration Option for OpenVZ
When you migrate an OpenVZ Container, there needs to be a simple checkbox for "Live" migration, which would add the --live function to vzmigrate. I never use the built-in migration because it doesn't have this feature and there's no reason not to do a live migration in most cases. This takes the VM down only a minute or two vs hours.
