There are still a lot of provider using OpenvZ 6 as their existing vps host, and we use vzdump to backing up clients container (CT).
I think it will be very helpful if we can restore CT from vzdump on OpenVZ 6 in OpenVZ 72 votes
Add UUID of OpenVZ VPSes created with EZ template to VPS page in SolusVM panel.
So when working via CLI and seeing UUIDs from vzlist, and then trying to correlate that info with what we have in our SolusVM master, it’s not very straightforward to do.
It is possible to customize the vzlist output to show the name, but that’s not a very fast way of working with vzlist.4 votes

It is not possible to add an additional partition to the VPS in SolusVM at the moment.
However, it is possible to do this using OpenVZ native tools.
For example, there is a device /dev/sdb on the hardware node and it is necessary to add it to the VPS 101.
Here is the instruction:
Create a partition /dev/sdb1 and format it in ext4 filesystem type. Add /dev/sdb1 to the VPS with the command: # vzctl set 101 --devnodes sdb1:rw --save Enter the VPS and mount the device to filesystem: # vzctl enter 101 # mount -t ext4 /dev/sdb1 /mnt

When i execute command ps aux on OpenVZ node, in output i often see to many processes 'vzctl exec $ctid cat /proc/meminfo'.
SolusVM executes command 'vzctl exec' three times for check memory status in one container.
SolusVM doesn't have to execute command vzctl exec.
SolusVM can use file /proc/bc/$ctid/meminfo on node and can executes one command instead three.2 votes

Virtuozzo 7 uses new template format and also supports the newer distros.
- Add option to node to specify to use "Virtuozzo 7 Templates"
- Add option to Templates > Virtuozzo 7 Templates
Then the EZ format for these.
it would be a good idea if we can create a container with solusvm using a glusterfs storage?

Have SolusVM start using the new features of OpenVZ 7. Allow for creation of hardware VM's (KVM) and OS containers. This will allow dual virtualizaiton on the hardware nodes.26 votes
Please consider adding the ability for end users to enable certain modules themselves e.g. FUSE/GRE/NFS/QUOTA this is already available for ppp and TUN/TAP and would save a great deal of manual admin work as well as give a more fluid end user experience.6 votes
