  2. Support new Virtuozzo EZ template format

    Virtuozzo 7 uses new template format and also supports the newer distros.

    • Add option to node to specify to use "Virtuozzo 7 Templates"
    • Add option to Templates > Virtuozzo 7 Templates

    Then the EZ format for these.

  5. Filter resource report by node group

    On List nodes page, there is an ability to filter nodes by node group, however on the resource report page nodes are sorted by the ID and there is no way to filter them at all. This would have been a good feature to plan our occupancy of nodes.

  12. Create virutal server with one IPv6 address (not IPv6 Subnets)

    Currently SolusVM can't assign IPv6 addresses to virtual server when created.
    There is the workaround that assign IPv6 Subnets to virtual server and define 1 to the 'IPv6 Addresses' parameter in the Plan.

    But the IPv6 Subnets function has the limitation that assignable IPv6 subnet range's minimum is '/112'. So customers can assign many IPv6 addresses ranged in '/112'.

    So if VPS service provider want a virtual server to assign only one IPv6 address, they should assign from SolusVM Web UI manually.

    I need the function to solve these issues.

    SolusVM doesn't resize the / of the KVM VM when we upgrade the Disk size from SolusVM. We heard it's due to the SWAP partition which is created in the same Disk. It would be to offer the feature which resize for KVM VM.

  14. Add --no-sparse parameter with virt-resize to avoid filesystem issues in KVM VM.

    During the VM creation, solusvm slave uses virt-resize --expand /dev/sda1 template.gz /dev/dm-x to expand the template and to write to the LV. However, if LV has obsolete data on it, and virt-resize copies template with sparse mode, the obsolete data could occupy the space where superblocks are supposed to write to and it leads to no bootable device error.

    I understand this behaviour can be avoided if we already zeroed the Volume Group, but it's still affecting the Windows guests.

    Please add a toggle to enable/disable the --no-sparse mode for each template in Template settings page.

  15. Improved IP block management

    We have a lot of IPv4 /27 and /26 public IP blocks. At our various locations we share VLANs and IP blocks between many servers. Each time we add a new server we have to manually add the server to many IP blocks. This is a tedious exercise. It's the most tedious exercise we do in SolusVM management. We would like to request some kind of better design. I think what would be better is if SolusVM had some higher level "grouping" of network blocks that you then assigned to servers in same VLAN.
