  1. Have SolusVM start using the new features of OpenVZ 7. Allow for creation of hardware VM's (KVM) and OS containers. This will allow dual virtualizaiton on the hardware nodes.

We're excited to inform you that development for this feature has been completed. SolusVM 2 now supports both OpenVZ containers and KVM virtual machines on the same compute resource. This means you can leverage the flexibility of dual virtualization on your hardware nodes as requested, allowing for both hardware VMs (KVM) and OS containers (OpenVZ) to coexist on the same infrastructure.

To enable or configure the supported virtualization types on a specific compute resource:

    1. Navigate to SolusVM 2 Admin UI > "Compute Resources".

    2. Select "Settings" for the desired Compute Resource.

    3. From there, you can define the types of virtualization you need to be supported.

The dual virtualization capability in SolusVM 2 strengthens our position as a versatile and scalable solution for hosting providers and IT teams, ensuring you can offer a full spectrum of virtualization services on unified infrastructure.
